The Indian Ceramics Asia B2B trade fair has been rebranded as ceramics India, said to mark a strategic expansion of the event at a time when the sector is looking for wider opportunities and broader industrial relevance. The first show under the new name will be held from March 3-5, 2027, at the Helipad Exhibition Centre, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. While the exhibition will continue to focus on its core strengths across ceramics and bricks, its new scope will support the growth of technical ceramics, advanced materials and next-generation process technologies.

By integrating traditional ceramics, technical ceramics, advanced materials and processing technologies within one business environment, ceramics India aims to create deeper industry exchange, stronger technology transfer and more meaningful buyer-supplier engagement.

The move is reported to build on the momentum of the 2026 event, which brought together over 250 global brands, attracted nearly 7,000 trade visitors, and covered 9,000 square metres of exhibition space.

The organisers, Messe Muenchen India and Unifair Exhibition Service, jointly stated, “The move to ceramics India reflects where the market needs the platform to go next. Our focus on our core ceramics base remains central and will continue to define the scale of the exhibition. But the industry is also evolving, and the platform must evolve with it. By bringing technical ceramics and advanced materials more clearly into the fold, we are creating a stronger, more future-ready business environment – one that supports the existing industry while also opening the door to new technologies, new applications and new growth opportunities.”
