Prodways to Showcase CERAM PRO ceramic AM at ICI 2026
Prodways Printers will showcase its CERAM PRO range for ceramic Additive Manufacturing at ICI 2026, demonstrating how the technology is helping investment casting manufacturers meet increasing demands for tighter tolerances, shorter production cycles and more complex component geometries.
The CERAM PRO range uses the company’s proprietary MOVINGLight DLP technology to produce complex, porous ceramic cores directly in a single manufacturing step, eliminating the need for tooling, wax pattern assembly and a number of manual production stages. According to Prodways, the approach enables manufacturers to reduce lead times and production costs while improving design flexibility.
The machines are designed to manufacture ceramic cores with intricate internal geometries, including cooling channels for turbine blades and other components that would be difficult or impossible to produce using conventional manufacturing methods. Once fired, the ceramic cores achieve the hardness required to withstand direct contact with high-temperature alloys, making the technology suitable for demanding aerospace, defence, medical and energy applications.
Prodways added that the CERAM PRO range offers repeatable production from build to build and supports a range of ceramic materials, including SILICA SICAST 1200, through an open materials platform. The company also stated that the machines can be integrated into existing investment casting production workflows with minimal disruption.
Visitors to ICI 2026 will have the opportunity to discuss the technology with Vincent Icart, CEO of Prodways Printers, and James Braddick, US Sales Representative, who will be available throughout the event to discuss applications and process integration for ceramic Additive Manufacturing.
The 73rd ICI Technical Conference and Expo will take place on October 25–28, 2026, at DeVos Place in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
