CMG Technologies, a MIM producer based in Woodbridge, Suffolk, UK, has announced the promotion of Rob Kirk to the position of General Manager. Kirk joined CMG in September 2022 as Operations Manager, bringing a wide range of management skills from various fields, along with engineering experience in the telecommunications and automotive industries.

“Taking on this new role feels great. I’m really excited,” Kirk shared. “I joined CMG as I wanted to work for a smaller company and instantly felt at home. What we have here is unlike any other business I have worked at before.”

“We have so many talented people here who are supportive of one another. It is key to what we do and is why we’re so successful,” he added. “The work we do here is fantastic. It still blows my mind what we are able to achieve on a daily basis.”

Kirk’s promotion is reflective of the wide range of responsibilities that he has taken on, supporting the growth of the business while ensuring that CMG Technologies maintains the highest standards and quality.

Kirk commented, “It’s not just the production side of things that I do – I support different teams across the business.”

“It is a really varied role,” he added. “It is great to have all that hard work recognised and I’m looking forward to learning more about what this new role has in store.”

Rachel Garrett, Managing Director of CMG Technologies, stated, “Both Phil [Dr Phil Marsh, CMG’s Technical & Production Director] and I are very pleased to promote Rob to this new position. His work and can-do attitude have been hugely beneficial to the business. We would not have experienced such fantastic growth were it not for his efforts. We look forward to seeing him continue to thrive in his new role.”
