Stratasys Ltd has announced it will hold an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on September 28, 2023, where those eligible can vote on the company’s planned merger with Desktop Metal. The deal would see the companies combine in an all-stock transaction valued at approximately $1.8 billion, creating an Additive Manufacturing company delivering industrial metal, polymer, sand and ceramic solutions.

In connection with the meeting, Stratasys stated it will send to its shareholders a joint proxy statement/prospectus describing in detail the proposed merger and the background to the proposal. It will also provide additional information related to the procedure for Stratasys shareholders to vote by proxy or voting instruction form if required.

Shareholders are being informed that regardless of their ability to attend the meeting, or the number of shares they own, their vote is valued and they are urged to participate.
