Formatec expands with in-house MIM sintering capability

Formatec, a Nano Dimension company based in Goirle, the Netherlands, has purchased its first full-size Metal Injection Moulding (MIM) furnace from Elnik Systems, LLC, Cedar Grove, New Jersey, USA. The furnace enables Formatec to now debind and sinter MIM components in-house rather than using a toll-sintering specialist. Prior to this investment, sintering services were outsourced to DSH Technologies, a company affiliated to Elnik Systems with toll-sintering operations in both the US and Germany.
