New Ceramics Expo Connect digital event to take place in September 2020
Smart Shows Tarsys Ltd, the organisers of Ceramics Expo, which has been postponed until 2021, have confirmed dates for a new digital event, Ceramics Expo Connect, which will run September 21–25, 2020.
The digital event aims to provide an opportunity for peer-to-peer discussions and networking with more than 250 industry suppliers to the sector and its supply chain. Each day the conference will reportedly focus on a different theme including Additive Manufacturing, aerospace applications, and quality and testing.
There will also be a series of panel discussions and breakout sessions that will cover trends and applications, materials and manufacturing. Industry experts will discuss business continuity and key developments in the market following the global disruption caused by coronavirus (COVID-19).
The organisers have created an online platform to ensure that all participants receive the benefits of attending the conference in-person. One-to-one meetings with suppliers can be booked in advance and panel debates will be followed by virtual networking.
Danny Scott, event director at Ceramics Expo, stated, “We’re thrilled with how Ceramics Expo Connect has come together and that the industry can still virtually meet, connect, and explore partnerships and collaborations, despite the restrictions due to COVID-19.”
“Furthermore, the online event has unlocked the potential to reach even more people that will benefit from connecting with the community globally. We’re anticipating a diverse range of attendees which will undoubtedly bring something different and innovative to the discourse at this year’s event.”
