World PM2022 Special Interest Seminars highlights diversity of metal powder manufacturting

The EPMA has announced the thirteen Special Interest Seminars (SIS) which will appear alongside the technical programme at World PM2022, scheduled to take place October 9-13, 2022, in Lyon, France.

Intended to highlight the diversity of metal powder manufacturing, the SIS will cover the following topics:

  • Session 6 – Functional Materials SIS: High Entropy Alloys and their possible applications
  • Session 7 – Environment Health Quality Safety SIS: ISO Activities & Standards
  • Session 8 – EHQS SIS: Environment, Health and Safety
  • Session 18 – Press & Sinter Global market trends
  • Session 25 – P&S SIS: Supply chain issues for alloying elements induced by electrification and their possible consequences
  • Session 32 – Additive Manufacturing SIS: Sustainability in AM
  • Session 39 – AM SIS: Emerging AM Technologies
  • Session 46 – Hard materials: Challenges in HM Industry
  • Session 53 – HM SIS: Hard Materials in the Value Chain
  • Session 62 – Metal Injection Moulding: Global MIM Market
  • Session 69 – MIM SIS: Sustainability of MIM
  • Session 76 – Hot Isostatic Pressing SIS: Metallurgical aspects of using HIP
  • Session 83 – HIP SIS: Hybrid solutions using HIP
