Wittmann Battenfeld GmbH, part of the Wittmann Group, has delivered the 40,000th injection moulding machine manufactured at its Kottingbrunn, Austria, plant. The machine was supplied to Stiebel Eltron GmbH & Co. KG, Eschwege, Germany, a manufacturer of heat pumps, solar heating systems, and electric hot water and heating products.

Stiebel Eltron has been cooperating with Battenfeld for more than thirty years and approximately half of the twenty-eight injection moulding machines installed at Eschwege were made by Wittmann Battenfeld. This latest machine, which was commissioned in July 2019, is a MacroPower 850/5100 with 8,500 kN clamping force. It is the fifth machine from the MacroPower series installed at Stiebel Eltron.
