Triditive, Gijón, Spain, presented AMCell as an AM solution for mass production at the Stanley + Techstars Accelerator Demo Day, which took place in Hartford, Connecticut, USA, on October 7, 2019. AMCell is described by Triditive as the first automated ‘3D Factory in a Box’ and integrated with EVAM, a software platform for remote control and automatic production optimisation, to automate and manage the entire Additive Manufacturing workflow in a single platform.

AMCell is powered by Automated Multimaterial Deposition (AMD) Technology® and uses a process similar Metal Injection Moulding (MIM) to produce green parts with the advantages related to FDM/FFF and mainly related to Binder Jetting processes. The result is said to be a process with the highest throughput of cost-efficient metal parts.

Organised by Stanley Black & Decker and Techstars, the Accelerator Demo Day marked the culmination of a three-month programme designed to help company founders accelerate their businesses through investment, resources and mentorship. It provided the founders of ten innovative companies selected for the Stanley + Techstars Accelerator programme, the opportunity to share their company vision.

The modular AMCell series is composed of an Additive Manufacturing module, quality control and automatic storage modules, and customers can configure it depending on their needs, adding as many modules as they need to scale up production capacity.
