Tinicum acquires controlling interest in MIM producer Greene Group Industries

Tinicum LP, based in New York, USA, along with affiliated funds managed by Tinicum Incorporated, have announced the acquisition of a controlling interest in Greene Group Industries. Headquartered in Oceanside, California, USA, Greene Group Industries provides metal parts with CNC machining, wire EDM, and Metal Injection Moulding capabilities. The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed, although the selling shareholders and management have reportedly retained an ongoing minority interest in the company.

Greene Group Industries manufactures components primarily used in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgeries, as well as other medical and commercial applications. The transaction with Tinicum aims to accelerate Greene’s investments in technology, add capabilities, and increase capacity to support growth with the company’s global customers.
