The seventh edition of Ceramics Expo is scheduled to take place from August 30–31, 2022, at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland, Ohio, USA. Organised by Smarter Shows (Tarsus) Ltd, the event brings together industry leaders to share their technical expertise in advanced ceramics and provide real-world case studies, new technologies and materials, along with information on industry trends.

In addition to the conference and exhibition, this year’s two-day event will incorporate the newly launched Thermal Management Expo which will be co-located with Ceramics Expo. Over 3,500 visitors are expected to attend the event with the conference featuring more than sixty speakers. The exhibition, which will run alongside the conference, anticipates more than 300 exhibitors that include GeoCorp Inc, Saint-Gobain Ceramics, Osterwalder Inc, Corning and Bosch Advanced Ceramics.

“The introduction of Thermal Management Expo is great news for the industry and even more so for the markets that already attend Ceramics Expo each year!” stated Raymond Pietersen, Exhibition Manager. “We are confident the synergy between the two events will provide an engaging experience for our visitors but also increase the opportunity for our exhibitors to do business.”

The first day of Ceramics Expo will feature a panel titled ‘Ask the Experts: Understanding How the Latest Advancements in Ceramic Additive Manufacturing Can Benefit Your Application’. Sponsored by Saint Gobain, the panel is moderated by Guillaume De Calan, CEO, Nanoe, and features the following talks:

  • How Ceramic 3D Printing Has called to Industrial Production – Johannes Homa, Lithoz GmbH
  • Ceramic Additive Manufacturing in service of the automotive industry – Dror Danai, CBO, XJet
  • Innovative zirconia-based material shaped by SLA 3D printing – Richard Gaignon, CEO 3DCeram
  • Development of SiC Powders with Enhanced Flowability and Density for Additive Manufacturing Applications – Matthew Creedon, Research and Development Manager, Washington Mills Electro Minerals

Mark Mecklenborg, Executive Director at The American Ceramic Society (ACerS), commented, “Ceramics Expo, now in its seventh year, provides an unrivalled opportunity to see firsthand and up close the innovations in materials, processes and products that are driving today’s ceramic manufacturing industry. ACerS is proud to be a founding partner of this event.”

Ceramics Expo is free to attend and registration is available here.
