Founded in 2006 on the principle of engineers recruiting engineers, Kensington has built long-standing partnerships with manufacturers and technology-led organisations across the UK, Europe, and the USA, focusing on technical understanding, recruitment, and long-term impact.

According to Kensington360, it became the world’s first recruitment agency to specialise in Additive Manufacturing in 2014. Alongside this specialism, Kensington has consistently supported clients across robotics, automation, machine tools, medical technology, calibration and metrology, advanced materials, energy, and aerospace and defence.

“Our work has always extended far beyond a single discipline,” stated founder Phillip Hodson. “What has changed is the way manufacturing technologies now intersect. Kensington360 reflects the reality of how we have supported clients for years, across connected systems rather than isolated functions.”

The updated website features live engineering roles across all supported industries, alongside free-to-download market intelligence and industry reports which offer insight into skills demand, hiring trends, and the evolving needs of modern manufacturing.

Independently owned, Kensington360 continues to operate with a consultant-led model, with the majority of its team holding Certified Recruitment Practitioner status and working to REC-accredited standards.
