APMA 2017 4th International Conference on Powder Metallurgy in Asia

The 4th International Conference on Powder Metallurgy in Asia, will be held at Sheraton Hotel of Hsinchu, Taiwan from April 9 to 11, 2017. It will showcase the technology within, and the capability of, the Asian powder metallurgy industry. The series conferences were extended from Jeju, Korea in 2011; Amoy, China in 2013 and Kyoto, Japan in 2015.

The conference is organized by Taiwan Powders and Powder Metallurgy Association, in cooperation with key members of the PM community in Taiwan. It features a two-day technical program – publishing some technical papers on powder metallurgy and particulate materials providing insight into updated R&D and recent industry developments and trends. The PM Exhibition will also demonstrate the latest developments of the Asia PM supply chain and its worldwide connection.

The topics will be covered in the conference program are as follows:

  1. High Performance PM Processing and Applications
  2. PM Materials
  3. Powder Injection Molding (MIM/CIM)
  4. Refractory Metals and Hard Materials
  5. Electronic and Magnetic Materials
  6. Green Energy Materials and Devices (SOFC/Li Battery)
  7. Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing)

The history of Taiwan powder metallurgy development is traced back to almost 50 years ago. Although the development history is not relatively long comparing to other countries, it is considered to be the most potential and competitive market in Asia. It is our honor to host and invite you as the most important guest to the conference to share the updated PM industrial information. In addition to the agenda, we also arrange some tour programs for our guests. We welcome you to take this opportunity to better know the passionate and beautiful Taiwan.
