New website for Schunk Sinter Metals

Germany’s Schunk Sinter Metals has announced the launch of its updated and completely redesigned website, bringing together its full range of products and services to a single site. The company stated that customers looking for sintered products now have access to all of the products and technologies of this division of the Schunk Group, no matter where they are in the world.

“With the new website of Schunk Sinter Metals, we are able to raise our profile as one of the leading manufacturers in the worldwide Powder Metallurgy industry,” stated Ingrid Springer, Head of Marketing of the Sinter Metals division. “The new website underlines our competence as a technology group and worldwide provider of high-precision sintered products.”

Schunk Sinter Metals produces a range of products including sintered structural parts, Metal Injection Molding (MIM), sintered bearings and soft-magnetic components. The company has three production facilities in Germany and Mexico, mainly suppling customers in the automobile industry.

The website also includes information on the company’s Friedrich Eisenkolb Powder Metallurgy test laboratory, which is accredited in accordance with DIN EN/ISO IEC 17025. The test laboratory, which is based in Thale, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, can provide all of the standard test procedures and makes full blanks from metal powder for prototype production.
