A new survey of the global PIM industry is being undertaken by Professors Sundar Atre and Randall German. The survey, state the authors, is an integral part of a major new market study that is being compiled from data provided by over 800 organisations associated with the PIM industry, including parts manufacturers, parts customers, powder and feedstock material suppliers, equipment vendors, tool and die makers, academia and research labs.

Participants completing this survey will receive a detailed ten page summary of key market trends and benchmarks of best industry practices, free of charge. In addition, they will receive a $500 discount when they purchase the complete PIM 2013 Market Study. The authors state that individual company data will remain confidential.

The PIM 2013 Market Study, which is estimated to run to 300 pages in length, will evaluate key drivers associated with PIM growth and will be released in April 2013
