The International Powder Metallurgy Directory (IPMD) 13th Edition will be published in January 2008. Since 1977 the IPMD has been the most comprehensive guide available to the global powder metallurgy (PM) industry, with over 4600 listings covering both PM parts producers and industry suppliers.

In addition to an international directory section, the 13th Edition IPMD also contains over 100 pages of technology features written by experts from the various sectors of PM. These features give an unique overview of the current status and future potential of PM including:

  • ferrous and nonferrous powder production
  • structural high performance PM parts
  • metal injection moulding
  • nanomaterials
  • PM self-lubricating bearings
  • cemented carbides
  • diamond tools
  • powder-based magnets.

A fully updated powder metallurgy market review is also included in the 13th Edition IPMD.

Purchasers can also search the online directory at www.ipmd.net. This allows for fast, complex searches for suppliers and manufacturers using some 200 specific product codes, by company name, or by address/country.

The 13th Edition IPMD is available to pre-order at a special rate of £110 plus postage. The post-publication rate is £165 plus postage. Further information is available at www.ipmd.net or by contacting the publisher, Inovar Communications Ltd, on tel: +44 1743 241289, fax: +44 (0)1743 369660.
