October 29, 2007

Mould Research Co. ltd which has been producing MIM parts in Kasutsu City, Shiga Pref., since 1998 and is today one of Japan‘s leading MIM companies, has changed its name to Technes Co Ltd with effect from August 2007.

The company uses a patented single step ‘reduced pressure debinding-sintering‘ system to significantly reduce the length of time normally used in debinding and sintering as separate steps. Technes also operates a MIM plant in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, China.
