MPIF seeks entries for its 2017 Powder Metallurgy Design Excellence Awards

The Metal Powder Industries Federation (MPIF) has announced it is seeking entries to its 2017 Powder Metallurgy Design Excellence Awards competition. Entries are due by February 10 and winners will receive their award at the annual POWDERMET conference taking place June 13 – 16, in Las Vegas, USA.

Grand Prize and Awards of Distinction may be awarded to the manufacturer and customer of outstanding components and/or innovative functional assemblies in the following categories.

  • Automotive
  • Engine, Transmission, Chassis
  • Aerospace/Military
  • Lawn & Garden/Off-Highway
  • Hand Tools/Recreation
  • Industrial Motors/Controls & Hydraulics
  • Hardware/Appliances
  • Medical/Dental
  • Electronic/Electrical
