MIM2026 showcases metal, ceramic and cemented carbide injection molding
The Metal Powder Industries Federation (MPIF)’s MIM2026 has concluded in Jacksonville, Florida, USA. Focused on Metal, Ceramic and Cemented Carbide Injection Molding (MIM, CIM and CCIM, respectively), the conference featured eighteen technical presentations and a dozen commercial presentations.

The Metal Injection Molding Association (MIMA) provided grants for three students to attend the conference. In addition to attending the conference and being given the opportunity to network with others in the industry, each student gave a presentation on research being done at their university.
Before the conference, former MIMA President Matt Bulger of ATPM Consulting led a Powder Injection Molding tutorial. The event organiser noted that this offered a clear, concise and comprehensive introduction to PIM technology.
