Metal Injection Molding Conference Call for Presentations

The Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista will once again host the MPIF’s annual MIM conference

A Call for Presentations has been published for the MIM2017 International Conference on Injection Molding of Metals, Ceramics and Carbides. The event takes place from February 27 to March 1, 2017, at the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista hotel in Orlando, Florida, USA.

The conference is sponsored by the Metal Injection Molding Association, a trade association of Metal Powder Industries Federation and its affiliate APMI International.

Authors have until September 30, 2016, to submit their presentation abstract. All abstracts accepted for presentation will require a PowerPoint submission prior to the conference.

The organisers state that innovation is responsible for the rapid growth of the Powder Injection Moulding, comprising Metal Injection Moulding, Ceramic Injection Moulding and Cemented Carbide Injection Moulding), a $2 billion advanced manufacturing industry. This conference, it was stated, provides a venue for the latest technology transfer.

As well as featuring international conference presentations, a tabletop exhibition showcases leading international materials and technology suppliers from around the world.
