A new e-newsletter service and website, Metal Additive Manufacturing (www.metal-am.com), has been launched by Inovar Communications Ltd. Metal Additive Manufacturing brings together the latest international news and technical developments from the metal Additive Manufacturing (AM) / 3D printing industry.

Metal AM website and e-newsletter dedicated to 3D printing metal - Ipad-metal-amNick Williams, Managing Director of Inovar Communications, stated, “This new on-line resource has been launched in response to the rapidly growing levels of interest in Additive Manufacturing with metals. We have for several years reported on developments in this technology though our quarterly publication Powder Metallurgy Review, however the industry has today evolved to such an extent that we believe that there is strong demand for a dedicated news service and website. ”

Metal Additive Manufacturing is the latest addition to Inovar’s portfolio of publications for the PM industry. In addition to Powder Metallurgy Review, the company also publishes Powder Injection Moulding International, covering the Metal (MIM) and Ceramic (CIM) Injection Moulding industries.

Paul Whittaker, Co-Editor of Metal Additive Manufacturing, stated, “As with PIM International and PM Review, our aim with Metal Additive Manufacturing is to not only provide relevant coverage of the AM industry, but to help promote the capabilities and potential of this dynamic technology to the widest possible audience.”

Inovar Communications will be exhibiting at the inaugural conference on “Additive Manufacturing with Powder Metallurgy” (AM-PM), taking place in Orlando, Florida, USA, from May 18-20. The event runs alongside the PM2014 World Congress on Powder Metallurgy & Particulate Materials.
