Kosice, Slovakia, hosts PM training course in Summer 2007

The European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) will be organsing the third in its series of EU supported training courses on powder metallurgy for young materials and design engineers in Kosice, Slovakia from 23rd June to 1st July 2007.
The programme will be divided into two main parts: firstly, a one-week Summer School, a mixture of formal presentations, lectures and group workshops, and secondly, one of two short courses of two days’ duration, focusing on two key areas of the industry: advanced materials and microstructural development. Powder injection moulding is included in the programme. The courses will be presented in English and will provide a valuable opportunity to improve attendees’ knowledge of the current status of PM technology.
The participation fee for the whole event, the Summer School and the Short Course, is €195 per person. This fee includes all relevant course documents, meals, accommodation and a grant towards their travel costs, calculated according to EU rules. In addition, each participant will receive one years free student membership to the EPMA.
