Kinetics goes multilingual with on-line Metal Injection Molding (MIM) design guide

Kinetics Metal Injection Molding of Wilsonville, Oregon, USA, has revamped its website making the newly launched version available in simple Chinese, German and Spanish as well as English.
Included is an on-line 33-page design guide which provides comprehensive information on design criteria for MIM parts. Criteria includes incorporating corner breaks and fillets, holes and slots, undercuts (external/internal), threads, ribs and webs, knurling, lettering and logos, gating, sink and knit lines.
The design guide also covers maximum and minimum wall thickness achievable in MIM, dimensional tolerances, secondary operations including surface finishing and plating, and heat treatment. Downloadable ‘Material and Property Data Sheets’ for assistance in determining the best material solution for your MIM application are also provided.
