Mesago Messe Frankfurt has released a statement sharing the initial impressions of Formnext 2025, taking place until November 21 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

Over the course of Formnext, 803 exhibitors from the Additive Manufacturing sector will be presenting their latest developments on around 50,000 m² of gross exhibition space. According to the organiser, this year’s trade fair turned in an impressive first day, recording high footfall, world premieres, and a programme that showcased the diversity of AM along the entire process chain.

This year, Formnext and its exhibitors intend to use a variety of real-world applications to demonstrate even more clearly the concrete added value that Additive Manufacturing offers in numerous industrial sectors and the specific business opportunities this affords.

“Thanks to the countless innovations waiting to be discovered at Formnext, our event gives every industrial company the chance to explore the diverse possibilities of AM and profit from them in the literal sense of the word,” stated Sascha F Wenzler, Vice President of Formnext at Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH.

Formnext 2025 will continue bringing together industry start-ups and known industrial companies to present many world premieres along the entire AM process chain – from design, production, and materials to post-processing and quality assurance. Visitors will be able to experience the latest developments first-hand and gain important knowledge on how to use this pioneering technology to develop and launch new products, improve existing ones, or optimise their own production.

Diverse technologies, trends, and applications

To mark its tenth year, Formnext has expanded its event programme. In addition to established formats such as the stage programme, special shows, the Formnext Awards, the partner country, and specialised seminars and events, 2025 will also feature focused tours of the trade fair, live AM shows, and much more.

The lecture programme on the three stages is intended to offer visitors a range of opportunities for both professional networking and exchanging new ideas. Experts will discuss current and future applications, technologies, and overarching trends in AM and the manufacturing industry at large.

Further highlights noted by Mesago Messe Frankfurt include:

  • Discover3DPrinting seminars for newcomers to AM (every day on the Application Stage)
  • Discover3DPrinting DeepDives: Tuesday to Thursday on the Technology Stage
  • Formnext Awards Showcase: booth 11.0 – D82
