Ken Edwards, CEO of Purity Zinc Metals, LLC (PZM) and MIM feedstock producer Advanced Metalworking Practices, LLC (AMP) has announced that Dwight Webster has advanced to the position of General Manager at AMP. Dwight graduated from Purdue University in 1997, with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology. In the same year joined AMP as a technician and was promoted to process engineer in 1999.

Dwight has had responsibilities in manufacturing, research and customer service. In 2007 he received training as an ISO internal auditor and worked with Director of Technology, Bill Mossner, and the rest of the AMP team to achieve the company’s ISO 9001:2000 certification in 2008.

Ken Edwards told Powder Injection Moulding International “Dwight and the AMP team will continue to supply the MIM industry with high quality feedstock and good customer service.”

AMP has been supplying the metal injection molding (MIM) industry with ADVAMET® feedstocks since 1988, longer than any other supplier. The company was founded by Dr. Kishor Kulkarni in 1984, and was purchased by PZM in 2007. AMP offers both off-the-shelf and custom feedstocks in a wide variety of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys. It produces feedstocks in batch sizes ranging from 25 lbs to 1700 lbs, supplying part producers both in North America internationally.
