EPMA to publish new guide to EU Legislation and Environmental Health and Safety in the European PM Industry
The European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) is producing a new guide to EU Legislation and Environmental Health and Safety in the European PM Industry, 2009 edition (EHS). The original EHS Guide was first published by the EPMA in 1991. This new edition, the seventh in the series, has been prepared by PM specialists, especially for the EPMA and is considered to be a total revision from the previous edition.
The new 2009 EPMA EHS guide takes into account the many changes that have occurred over the last 5 years, since the last edition was published, with an essential new section on REACH, as well as new sections on Globally Harmonised Systems, Nano-materials and Eco-efficiency. There are also numerous updates on legislation affecting PM manufacturers, managers and technologists.
