Desktop Metal announces Scott Dussault, Stephen Nigro as new directors

Desktop Metal, Burlington, Massachusetts, USA, has announced the appointment of Scott Dussault to its board of directors effective December 18, 2020. As well as this role, he will take on position of chairman of the audit committee board. These appointments follow the election of Stephen Nigro to the Desktop Metal Board of Directors following the closing of its business combination with Trine Acquisition Corp.
Dussault has reportedly worked as a leader in the operational and financial leadership field for over twenty years, with a track record of success in both public and private companies. He currently serves as EVP, COO, and CFO at Nasuni Corporation, a leading cloud storage provider. Prior to January 2015, Dussault functioned as EVP and CFO for Demandware, leading the company through its initial market offering, which resulted in a market capitalisation of over $3 billion.
Previously, he held CFO roles at Archivas, AStra Tech, and StorageNetworks. Dussault now acts as an advisory board member at BigCommerce and MotiveMetrics. He holds a BS in accounting from Stonehill College, Easton, Massachusetts, USA.

Nigro worked at HP, Inc. for the greater part of three decades in a variety of roles. Most recently, he functioned as president of the company’s 3D Printing division, but he had previously served as senior vice president of HP’s Imaging & Printing business. Currently, Nigro serves on the board of directors of Kornit Digital Ltd. He holds a BS from the University of California Santa Barbara and an MS from Stanford University, both in electrical engineering.
