Construction starts on Arburg’s new Customer Centre in Lossburg

000389The official ground-breaking ceremony for the new Arburg Customer Centre in Lossburg, Germany, took place in on 28 March 2007. The new building will be a large show room with sufficient space to house the entire series of Arburg machines for injection moulding.

Michael Hehl, Managing Partner and Spokesperson for the Arburg management team, said that the facility confirmed the company’s commitment to Lossburg as the sole production location. The facility employs more than 1,680 staff.

000390A new five-storey building will have a total useable floorspace of around 10,000m2 and it is being constructed on the site of a previous administration wing. In addition to a large demonstration area, two administration floors and a guest reception area are planned. The Customer Centre is scheduled for completion by autumn 2008.
