CeramTec appoints Carla Kriwet as incoming CEO as Hadi Saleh moves to Supervisory Board

CeramTec GmbH, headquartered in Plochingen, Germany, has announced that Dr Carla Kriwet will become the group’s new CEO and President Medical, by the end of 2025 at the latest. It was also confirmed that Dr Hadi Saleh, the current CEO, will transition to a new role as non-executive director of the company’s Supervisory Board.

Dr Kriwet, who will join CeramTec in July 2025, is reported to bring experience from leading a number of successful global businesses, including serving as CEO of BSH Hausgeräte GmbH, CEO of Fresenius Medical Care AG and CEO of the Connected Care division at Philips NV.

Dr Saleh and Dr Kriwet will work closely together in an effort to ensure a smooth and effective transition for CeramTec.
