This year’s Ceramitec and Analytica trade fairs will be held in parallel at the Munich Exhibition Center in Germany from April 9-12, 2024. The partnership is expected to add value to both exhibitors and visitors, as it encompasses the entire value chain from material development to analytical precision.

For the ceramics industry, Analytica will showcase a range of automated laboratory systems, advanced analytical tools, and innovative measurement technologies. These technologies provide precise data on material composition, which can help in controlling and optimising the quality of raw materials and end-products.

In many laboratories, in turn, technical ceramics are used in devices and components because they can withstand extreme temperatures and high mechanical stress and are resistant to aggressive chemicals. Some ceramic types are also biocompatible, which makes them suitable for certain experiments in biomedical research.

The supporting programme for both trade fairs will include presentations and discussion panels beneficial for both sides. Ceramitec will offer guided tours providing an introduction to the range of products and services for technical ceramics and ceramic components. In the Occupational Safety and Health Forum at Analytica, experts will demonstrate, with live explosive demonstrations, how safety can be ensured in daily laboratory work.
