Brazil’s 38th Senafor event to include Powder Metallurgy stream

The organisers of Brazil’s 38th Senafor event, set to run from October 3-5, 2018 in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, have announced that this year’s event will include the 7th International Conference on Powder Metallurgy and 13th Meeting of Powder Metallurgy– Brazil.

The primary topics for the Powder Metallurgy stream during the event will be:

  • Production of metal powders (atomisation, milling)
  • Metal Injection Moulding (MIM)
  • Metal forming
  • Sintering
  • Synthesis
  • Magnetic materials
  • Hard metals
  • Composites
  • Porous materials (filters and self-lubricating brushes)
  • New technologies

Also forming part of the 38th Senafor will be 22nd International Forging Conference – Brazil, 21st National Conformation Conference of Plates,  8th International Conference of Conformation of Plates,  5th Congress of BrDDRG and 8th International Conference on Materials and Processes for Renewable Energies.

The conference will include lectures, keynote presentations and specially invited speakers. Those interested in presenting their research either orally or as a poster should submit their abstracts before May 31, 2018.
