ASEAN Ceramics 2023, Southeast Asia’s leading international exhibition for machinery, technology and materials for manufacturing whiteware, heavy clay, bricks and advanced ceramics, is taking place November 28-30, 2023. The event, organised by Messe München GMBH (MMG) and the Vietnam Building Ceramic Association, in collaboration with consultants Asian Exhibition Services (AES) Ltd, is held at the International Centre for Exhibition (ICE) in Hanoi, Vietnam, and is expected to attract over 3,000 attendees.

A conference programme, running in parallel to the exhibition, features over thirty sessions and panel discussions presented by leading industry experts from across the globe, and will address the industry’s key challenges, formulate innovative solutions and collaborate on the future of ceramic manufacturing in this region.

A conference programme with top industry experts

The ASEAN Ceramics conference features a diverse conference programme with presentations under the theme: Building a Sustainable Future: Green Innovation and Production Efficiency through Digitalisation, Automation, Alternative Fuels, Energy Recovery, and Losses & Waste Reduction. The event is intended to underscore the industry’s commitment to sustainability and technological progress.

Seminar looks at Vietnam’s ceramic and building materials industry

On November 29th, a seminar organised by the Vietnam Building Ceramic Association (VIBCA) will provide insights from the country’s ceramic industry, looking at research achievements in the field of ceramics, industrial glass-ceramic industry, ceramic slabs in interior decoration, to changes in the Vietnamese (TCVN) and ISO standards system and technological improvements in brick production.

Various ceramic applications and product innovations will be presented at the event, including

  • Digitalisation: Focus on Glazing Line – System Ceramics, Italy
  • Zero-Impact Ceramics Production Processes – SACMI, Italy
  • Shaping Technical Ceramics with 3D Printing Technologies, State of Art – 3DCeram, France
