Arburg to host regionalised PIM webinars

Arburg, headquartered in Lossburg, Germany, reports it will be hosting two Powder Injection Moulding webinars, the first will be time-optimised for Asia and Europe on November 9 and the second, targeted at audiences in the United States and Europe, on November 10.

The presentations will include the following:

  • ARBURG and PIM – Past and Present by Hartmut Walcher (Senior Application Manager Powder Injection Moulding, Arburg)
  • Simulation for the PIM process by Dr Goetz Hartmann (Executive Manager Engineering & Business Development, Magma Giessereitechnologie GmbH, Aachen, Germany)
  • Variothermal processing enlarges process window for PIM by Peter Kaufmann (Research & Development, Regloplas AG, St Gallen, Switzerland)
  • General PIM process and Variotherm applications by Marko Maetzig (Process Engineering, PIM, Arburg)

The events, hosted through Zoom, will be held at Arburg’s Thailand subsidiary and will be presented in English by Uwe Haupt. Each will last between 90 and 120 minutes.

The Asian and European webinar is scheduled to take place on November 9, 2021, 9-11 AM CET. The North American and European webinar, on November 10, 2021, at 3-5PM CET.
