Arburg GmbH + Co KG, headquartered in Lossburg, Germany, has appointed new Managing Directors to its Romania and Türkiye branches. The company announced that Mihai Dumitru is now the Managing Director of Arburg Romania, and Çağrı Ünver will be the Managing Director of Arburg Türkiye from April.

Arburg Romania

Dumitru has been Managing Director of Arburg Romania since January 2025 and is supported by a team of ten employees. With his academic background as an engineer for applied electronics and automation and his many years of experience in business development, Arburg states that Dumitru is ideally qualified for his management role in Romania.

Romania is said to offer considerable potential for Arburg, as an up-and-coming market in Europe. Dumitru wants to exploit further potential in the areas of automation and digitalisation. He also wants to expand the spare parts and maintenance business, particularly through professional maintenance contracts and digital solutions.

Dumitru sees the excellent reputation of the Arburg parent company as a great advantage on the way to the envisaged market leadership in the country.
