Twenty speakers from companies such as Safran, Novadditive, and CERN, as well as research institutions like IKTS and Glassomer, will provide exclusive insights into the latest real-life applications and research on ceramic AM, from industrial case studies and novel medical applications.
Speakers include:
- Dr Frederik Kotz-Helmer from Glassomer will explore how Additive Manufacturing can enable entirely new designs and functions in high-performance industries in his talk, “Novel developments in 3D printing of fused silica glass”
- Prof Dr Raul Bermejo, from the Technical University of Leoben, will showcase how ceramic Additive Manufacturing offers innovative solutions for research across disciplines. In his talk “You 3D-print, it sinters, we test – Tailoring the mechanical response of 3D-printed ceramics by non-conventional sintering,” Bermejo will provide insights into the different mechanical possibilities of ceramics
- Johan Els from the Central University of Technology, Free State, South Africa, will also discuss material innovation and the opportunities presented by the use of AM in a talk titled “Ceramics and metals for multi-material medical applications by Additive Manufacturing”
In addition to these talks, AM Ceramics 2025 offers a full programme that provides access to up-to-date research and applications of additively manufactured ceramics.
Attendees will also get a behind-the-scenes look at Lithoz headquarters. The tours at the Lithoz Innovation Lab will cover the full range of Lithography-based Ceramic Manufacturing (LCM) machines, design and multi-material AM, as well as the company’s expansive material portfolio. For those specifically involved with medical ceramics, there will be a hands-on workshop by KLS Martin, offering insights into the complete workflow for additively manufactured ceramic implants.
