Advanced Metalworking Practices names Abby Thomas process engineer
Advanced Metalworking Practices Inc. (AMP), a manufacturer of Metal Injection Moulding feedstock, headquartered in Carmel, Indiana, USA, has named Abby Thomas as a process engineer.
Thomas graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering and a minor in mathematics. In her new role, Thomas will be responsible for developing, implementing and optimising process strategies, managing resources and maintaining documents of the manufacture of the company’s ADVAMET wax polymer and ADVACAT catalytic debinder systems.
“Abby will also play a role in our continuous improvement program, which is boosting operational efficiency, improving customer experience, and creating a more sustainable future,” added Lane Donoho, president of AMP.
