The latest edition of the International Powder Metallurgy Directory (IPMD) will be published in January 2010 by Inovar Commuications, based in Shrewsbury, UK.

The IPMD is the most complete source of information on both Powder Metallurgy (PM) and Powder Injection Molding (PIM) part producers and industry suppliers worldwide. The new edition is expected to feature in excess of 4800 entries.

A global directory of PM producers and suppliers

First published in 1977, the IPMD is today the primary reference source for the PM community. Sixty countries are featured, with each divided into sections for ‘Part Manufacturers’, ‘Powder and Materials Suppliers’ and ‘Equipment Suppliers’.

Detailed information is supplied on the products and services offered by each company using 200 specific product codes. Purchasers also benefit from 12 months free access to the IPMD’s advanced online search facility, available at www.ipmd.net.

Market information and technology reviews

More than 150 of the estimated 500 pages in the 14th Edition IPMD will contain market information and technology reviews, all written by recognised industry experts, including the 15 page IPMD “PM Global Market Review”.
