Now only six months away, CERAMITEC 2009 is set to be the major international event for the ceramic injection moulding industry. CERAMITEC 2009, the 11th International Trade Fair for Machinery, Equipment, Plants, Processes and Raw Materials for Ceramics and Powder Metallurgy, takes place in Munich, Germany, from 20-23 October 2009.

Although the exhibition covers the whole ceramics industry, the Technical Ceramics sector is expected to be well represented, with among others, Cremer, Nabertherm, Eisenmann, ECT, Haldenwanger and Superior Technical Ceramics planning their participation.

A joint stand under the banner of TASK GmbH (Technology Agency for Structural Ceramics), a group that promotes the use of structural ceramic components to industry and end-users, is also being organised. Exhibitors within this joint stand include feedstock producer Inmatec and Germany’s Ceramic Injection Moulding Network (Expertenkreis Keramikspritzguss). Powder Injection Moulding International magazine will also be exhibiting in the Technical Ceramics area of CERAMITEC 2009.

Powder metallurgy technology will once again feature prominently in a dedicated exhibition area, with market leaders such as Dorst, Frey, Lauffer and Osterwalder expected to be present. Over 22,000 visitors from over 100 countries attended CERMAITEC 2006. For more information visit www.ceramitec.de/en/
