The European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) has announced that the call for Euro PM2026 ‘Technical Briefs’ presentations is now open. Scheduled to take place in Budapest, Hungary, on October 14, 2026, participants at the Euro PM2026 congress and exhibition will have the opportunity to give a short, 10-minute presentation on any aspect of Powder Metallurgy, including research results, industrial developments, and technical or economic analyses of PM processes.

The Technical Briefs aim to foster knowledge exchange, stimulate discussions, and encourage collaboration within the PM community. The format, which will include time for Q&A, is also expected to be ideal for students looking to present ongoing work and gain instant feedback.

Submissions follow the same scientific and technical criteria as regular technical presentations, while offering a shorter and more focused approach. No full manuscript is required and presentations will not be peer-reviewed or included in the congress proceedings.

The deadline for submitting abstracts for the Technical Briefs is May 29, 2026. Those interested can submit their abstracts here.
