Ter Hoek adopts XJet Carmel 1400C for ceramic Additive Manufacturing

XJet, based in Rehovot, Israel, has announced that Ter Hoek, a Dutch precision manufacturing specialist based in Rijssen, has adopted the XJet Carmel 1400C ceramic Additive Manufacturing machine. The collaboration brings XJet’s proprietary NanoParticle Jetting (NPJ) technology to Ter Hoek’s precision manufacturing operations, expanding both companies’ ability to serve high-tech industries with advanced ceramic solutions.
Ter Hoek is reported to be expanding its expertise into technical ceramics. The decision represents an ambitious capability increase, from conductive metal materials to high-performance insulation materials, that is intended to not only diversify Ter Hoek’s material portfolio but upgrade its production process into an automated, digital workflow.
