There is less than one week remaining to register for the Medical Powder Metallurgy Seminar 2025, taking place 14–15 October in Saint-Étienne, France. Organised by the European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) in collaboration with the  Centre technique des industries mécaniques (CETIM)Laboratoire de Tribologie et Dynamique des Systèmes (LTDS) and Centrale Lyon ENISE, the event will aim to bring together experts, researchers, and industry leaders to explore how Powder Metallurgy and Additive Manufacturing are transforming the medical sector, from patient-specific implants to advanced biocompatible materials.

The seminar is intended to provide a platform for the industry to discuss the latest advancements, applications, and future trends in medical devices and healthcare solutions.

Presentations at the event will cover:

  • Titanium and cobalt-chromium alloys for improved biocompatibility and strength
  • Metal Injection Moulding (MIM) and sinter-based Additive Manufacturing for faster, more efficient production
  • Strategies for ISO standardisation, CE marking, and eco-friendly alternatives
