Sinter-based Additive Manufacturing methods, such as Metal Binder Jetting or Lithography-based Metal AM, are considered amongst the most promising routes towards modern industrial series production. One of the main benefits of sinter-based AM is the ability to utilise a wide range of materials, including metals and ceramics, any powder material that can be sintered is a potential candidate for this process.
International speakers from industry and R&D will provide insight into the latest advancements and industrial implementation of these technologies. The workshop programme will be supplemented by a pinboard-assisted general discussion, a tabletop exhibition and a Component Award competition.
Over the last five years, Fraunhofer IFAM’s Sinter-based AM workshop has established itself as one of the prime industry meetings on metal Binder Jetting and other sinter-based AM processes. The main topics include:
- Industrial implementation of Metal Binder Jetting and Use Cases
- Sinter-based AM with ceramics
- New materials for sinter-based AM
Registration to the event is open until September 22. Those interested can register for the workshop, here.
