Event organiser Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH has announced that, despite geopolitical and economic challenges, Formnext 2025 has recorded solid figures for its tenth-anniversary show. To date, some 533 companies from thirty-four countries have already registered to attend.

“Formnext thus underscores how indispensable it is for the AM industry even in very challenging times,” stated Sascha F Wenzler, Formnext Vice President, Mesago Messe Frankfurt.

Petra Haarburger, Mesago Messe Frankfurt President, added, “The diversity of our existing and new exhibitors is proof that Additive Manufacturing offers excellent business opportunities for companies along the entire process chain.”

International presence and positive survey results

Of the exhibitors registered so far, 65% are from outside of Germany. Apart from Germany, China and the USA, notable exhibitor countries include this year’s partner country, Spain, as well as Italy, France and the UK. At this early stage of the year, new exhibitors from fifteen different countries have already registered.

According to Mesago Messe Frankfurt, the solid development of Formnext is also based on a positive response from exhibitors and visitors: According to the survey conducted at the last edition, 88% of exhibitors were satisfied or extremely satisfied with their participation in Formnext 2024. Among the 34,404 visitors, the satisfaction rating was as high as 96%. The analysis also showcased the position of Formnext in the AM sector: 38% of trade visitors can only be reached via Formnext because they do not attend any other trade fair.

New exhibitors

Although consolidation has been a topic of conversation in the Additive Manufacturing sector, the range of new exhibitors highlights the AM’s still-dynamic nature. The new exhibitors cover all stages of the process chain, including AM machines suitable for various sizes of components, slicing software, materials and surface finishing, and ceramic manufacturing.

“This wide range also indicates that the world of Additive Manufacturing is constantly offering companies new applications and business opportunities which they can then, for example, develop further by participating in Formnext,” says Christoph Stüker, Vice President Formnext at Mesago Messe Frankfurt.

Formnext 2025 will take place in Frankfurt, Germany, from November 18-21.
