D3-AM exhibits LAB II Large Format ceramic Additive Manufacturing machine at Formnext 2024

D3-AM, based in Bressanone, Italy, introduced its new LAB II Large Format ceramic Additive Manufacturing machine at this year’s Formnext. The new machine uses the company’s proprietary Micro Particle Jetting (MPJ) technology and is capable of producing ceramic components up to 400 x 480 x 160 mm.
With the development of a unique printhead, the D3-AM enables direct deposition of water-based suspensions with high solids content and almost any particle size and distribution*.* Once built, the additively manufactured parts can be sintered directly – without any additional debinding steps.
