Headmade Materials GmbH, located in Unterpleichfeld, Germany, has announced a collaboration with Nexa3D, based in Ventura, California, USA. The move will bring metal Additive Manufacturing to Nexa3D through the use of Headmade’s ColdMetalFusion sinter-based AM process.

“We are thrilled to partner with Headmade for ColdMetalFusion because we believe it provides our customers with best-in-class production economics for manufacturing metal components,” stated John Calhoun, Head of SLS Business Development at Nexa3D.

By using Headmade’s feedstock technology, Nexa3D customers will be able to manufacture metal components on the company’s QLS 230, QLS 236 and QLS 820 high-throughput Laser Beam Powder Bed Fusion (PBF-LB) machines.

“We are impressed by the speed and throughput capabilities of Nexa3D technology and couldn’t be more excited to partner with them to expand access and adoption of ColdMetalFusion technology,” added Christian Fischer, co-CEO of Headmade Materials.
