Feedstock provider Polymer-Chemie re-established as PolyMIM GmbH

News

The Metal Powder Compound Division of Polymer-Chemie GmbH, founded in 2005, has become an independent legal entity as of August 2010 as the newly founded PolyMIM GmbH. Jochen Eichstädt and Dirk Breitbach were appointed General Managers of the company.

PolyMIM GmbH develops and markets compounds for metal injection moulding. The separation from Polymer-Chemie creates a clear differentiation from PVC Compounds, the primary business of Polymer-Chemie.

As with former spin-offs TechnoCompound GmbH, Polyblend GmbH and the joint venture with Mitsui Chemicals called Sun Alloys Europe GmbH, PolyMIM GmbH is a subsidiary of the Polymer-Chemie group of companies.
