41st Hagen Symposium brings together Powder Metallurgy, Additive Manufacturing and Metal Injection Moulding

The 41st Hagen Symposium on Powder Metallurgy will take place from November 30 – December 1, 2023, in Hagen, Germany. Organised by the Fachverband Pulvermetallurgie (FPM), The German-language event will include presentations on a wide range of PM technologies, including press and sinter, hard materials, metal Additive Manufacturing and Metal Injection Moulding, as well as novel processing techniques and material developments.

The winner of this year’s Skaupy Award, to be presented during the symposium, is Prof. Dr-Ing. Werner Theisen, of Ruhr University Bochum. In his opening Skaupy lecture, Dr Theisen will discuss his work on the Additive Manufacturing of stainless, nitrogen-alloyed steels.

In addition to the symposium, an exhibition will bring together those supplying the industry and a programme of social events will offer networking opportunities.
