Busch achieves EcoVadis bronze sustainability ranking

Dr-Ing Karl Busch GmbH, part of the global Busch Group, was awarded the EcoVadis bronze medal for its commitment to sustainability. This places the company in the top 35% of organisations rated by EcoVadis over the last twelve months.

Busch stated that this recognition underlines the high importance of its environmental and social responsibility. This year was the first time that Busch placed in the ranking.

The Busch Group — including Busch Vacuum Solutions, Pfeiffer Vacuum+Fab Solutions and centrotherm clean solutions — is one of the largest manufacturers of vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, blowers, compressors and gas abatement systems. Its product and service portfolio includes solutions for vacuum, overpressure and abatement applications. This also includes the design and construction of tailor-made vacuum systems and a worldwide service network.

EcoVadis has been evaluating companies on a variety of sustainability criteria since 2007, including environmental impact, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable sourcing. So far, more than 130,000 companies from over 180 countries have been surveyed.
