Powder Injection Molding (PIM) is a growing field, with recent sales estimated at over $1 billion. The expectation is that this growth and interest will continue and, over the next five years, the industry will approach $2 billion in sales.

The objective of the PIM2008 conference is to continue to explore advances, assist in the transfer of technology, and investigate new developments in the field of powder injection molding of metals, ceramics, and carbides.

This specialized conference organized and sponsored by the Metal Powder Industries Federation and APMI International, in cooperation with the Metal Injection Molding Association, is targeted at engineers, product designers, manufacturers, consumers, researchers, educators, and students. All individuals with an interest in the application of powder injection molding will be encouraged to attend.
